Living in the SC lowcountry I have a whole new appreciation for the oyster culture here. Not only are they an important part of the ecosystem and the vast marshlands, but they are a culinary staple as well. I can paint any shell and it will be as unique as a fingerprint since no two are alike. I love their luminescent color variations that feature all the soft beach tones. This painting pairs well with OYSTER SHELL 3 and creates a nice set when hung together!
